I started Tuxedo Mosquito Control 17 years ago, as a local solution to family and pet-friendly mosquito control. Over the years, our family-owned business has grown to expand throughout the metro Atlanta area and into Charleston, South Carolina as well - all made possible by your continued support and trust!
Recently, Penny and I have been evaluating our next steps - professionally and personally - and believe it is time for us to pass the company on to someone who can lead the business with the same relentless commitment and dedication to our customers that has been the driving force behind Tuxedo Mosquito Control. Our customers are an extension of our family and it was very important that each of you continues to receive the same great service with that personal touch we have always given. That is why we are so excited that we are able to keep the tradition going with a family member taking the reins. As such, I am excited to announce that Robert Pittman will be joining our team and investing in Tuxedo Mosquito Control.
As many of you know, Robert is the husband of my daughter Jennifer, and a father of two. Not only is he family, but Robert also is a trusted advisor and entrepreneur, having served as CFO for a Tax Credit Housing Developer for the last two years; preceded by a 15-year career in Institutional Fixed Income Sales. We couldn’t be more thrilled to have Robert’s unique skill set on our team and to be able to keep our company - one we hold so very dear to our hearts - a family-owned business.
Over the course of the next two years, Robert will serve as General Manager of Tuxedo Mosquito Control, overseeing all operations and I will continue on the sales and customer service side of the business. After such time, Robert will purchase the remaining equity and take on full ownership of the company, maintaining the same value system and focusing on excellent customer service that the company has delivered since it was established. Rest assured that the high quality of service we have provided will remain the same, as will our competitive pricing.
